I am so happy that you made it here and thank you for your interest!
My name is Min and I am excited to share how I decided to start Libby's Cat Sitter pet sitting company!
I started cat sitting as a part time job through a local cat sitting company.
I was able to take care of so many different cats and had the best time doing it, it was like a therapy for me. One day, I got an opportunity to start taking care of these two cats for a lady at a local memory care home. Her name is Libby and her cats are Mellow(white paws) and Sassy(picture above). Sassy has a condition where I would need to give her medication twice a day, every day. They are the sweetest and the most gentle cats I've ever met.
It's been 2 years now, they are like family to me.
Libby always thanked me when I came to take care of them and the joy on her face as she interacted with these furry companions was truly heartwarming.
She is also my biggest supporter and motivation!
I struck up a conversation, and learned about her deep connection with her animals. She shared tales of her childhood, reminiscing about the furry friends she had cared for throughout her life. The memories she held dear were an anchor in her ever-changing world, providing comfort and a sense of purpose.
Moved by her story, I couldn't help but feel a calling within me. I realized that there were many seniors like Libby, who found solace and companionship in the presence of their pets, despite the challenges they faced. In that moment, a dream began to take shape.
With unwavering determination, I decided to establish a cat sitting service, dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to others like Libby. Inspired by Libby's love for these gentle creatures, I embarked on a journey to provide a nurturing and safe environment for both the cats, and the seniors they would accompany.
I designed personalized cat sitting services tailored to the unique needs of seniors.
In collaboration with assisted living homes and memory care facilities, my cat sitting business became an integral part of their therapeutic programs.
As the business grows and establish a team of compassionate cat sitters who share the same vision to make a difference in the lives of both cats and seniors, also brings the same kind of love and care for cats at your home.
Today, this cat sitting business stands as a testament to the remarkable journey that began with Libby. Her love for cats and her inspiring spirit ignited a passion within me, guiding me to a purpose greater than myself.
